Chio Club – Sticker Tier – Interest Check?

So I’ve been playing around with the idea of a physical sticker tier for the Chio Club for a while. I’ve got over a dozen ideas for a monthly sticker that could be mailed to you, wherever you are, and getting stickers made nowadays is one of the easiest things ever.

I’ve been polling my audience on various social sites for a few days, and so far the results are more in favor of a new sticker tier than against, so I’m doing a bit more research and math to make this real.

I’m planning to do a variety of things with Follower and Messenger characters, and maybe some characters from additional works once I’m able to get those things off the ground. But I’m hoping to either do one big sticker a month, or two smaller ones. I still have to do some math and shop around for printers to find the best price.

Basically, I want an excuse to make cool stickers, and it would be super cool if other people wanted them, too.

#MentalHealthAwarenessMonth: Starving Artist

Hi, my name is Bug and I have pretty severe anxiety! It makes life incredibly hard sometimes, and I am lucky to have supportive people in my life as well as medical professionals who have helped me learn to deal with it. It feels weird to talk about it in a public place like this, but lately I’ve been trying to capture some of the feelings related to it in art, and it seemed like the right time to share some of it.

It took me a long time to figure out that I had anxiety at all, and that what I was feeling all the time (like my brain was going to explode) wasn’t something that everyone felt all the time, normally. With time and help, I’ve learned to adapt to it and strategies to cope with it.

If you are experiencing overwhelming feelings of stress and anxiety: talk to someone you trust, or a doctor, or a counselor. You absolutely do not have to live this way, and your life can be significantly better. You are worth it. There are ways to get help if you need it.

With that said, here is a comic I drew on one particularly bad night recently about the experience of having anxiety and being an artist.

This comic premiered first to members of the Chio Club a couple of months ago! You can get early access to comics like this (and help reduce my stress as an artist) by becoming a member!

Chio Club: New Chapter 3 Pages

New chapter 3 pages? Didn’t chapter 3 happen years ago? Well, technically, yeah, but last year I breezed through the chapter and made some improvements to the artwork for both print and PDF books! A lot of the work was color adjustments, but the pages have also been re-lettered and generally given better consistency.

Right now, Chio Club members are getting new batches of these pages every Friday! They’ll eventually make their way to the regular site sometime in 2022, but they’re a major example of the kinds of work we’d like to accomplish on fixing up the website and pages via our latest Chio Club goal! If we can get to $100/month in Chio Club memberships, I can start doing this work for ALL of the Follower archive. We’re a third of the way there already!

As an example of what’s changed, take a look at this before and after:
