About dia
The only Chio (that we’ve met, anyway) who may have experienced coffee is probably Dia. Dia probably should not have coffee, whether it’s like or dislike.

Jacinto asks: Dia, in front of you is a big bomb with a nuclear hazard symbol painted on it. Connected to it is a small box with a shiny red button. You’re not going to press the button, right?
The lesson here is probably: don’t give Dia buttons.
It has been a rough weekend for me pain-wise so far, and all my brain wants to do is draw. Figures. I had a moment and seized it to sketch a messy little Dia for fun. Hopefully I can get this all better dealt with soon. Cross your fingers for me. 🤞
Been doing some small drawings to try and build up strength in my drawing hand again and get used to drawing with my new splint on. So far, so good!
Did some experimenting with a new painting style in Procreate. Dia is from my comic, Follower!

Just like people, some Chios prefer physical contact and others don’t. Geedey doesn’t always know what to make of Dia’s more socially interactive nature, but he’s pretty tolerant of her just the same.

To kick off the new year, we decided to participate in Kickstarter’s Make 100 Project this month! We’re Kickstarting a limited edition enamel pin featuring Dia, and we’ve got 30 days to fund it. After 2020, Dia seemed like the right character to feature because she’s got the right attitude to lead us into the new year.
The pins themselves will be 1.5 inch soft enamel pins. Soft enamel pins are a high-quality enamel pin made with die struck (raised) metal and recessed enamel. I’m working with a well-established company that specializes in making these types of pins.
In addition to pins, we’re also including a matching holographic Dia sticker at certain pledge levels! Other rewards include digital comic downloads. There’s something for everybody, and every pledge gets us closer to making this project real!
