Ask a Chio: Are there Chio hats?

Hats aren’t that common among Chios, because they’re kind of awkward to fit over and around those ears! It’s also not always necessary when you’re in a bright, sunny environment, so the most popular head coverings tend to be modified visor-like hats, or bandannas that can be wrapped around the head easily.

Chios are from Messenger and Follower, two webcomics set in the same world!

Ask a Chio: If technology within the post-apocalyptic world suddenly worked once again…

If technology within the post-apocalyptic world suddenly worked once again, would there be any interest from the Chio community to discover how it all functioned?

Chios are very inquisitive by nature and it would probably make them really happy to have so much new stuff to explore and experiment with.

Ask a Chio: Does a Chio’s tail signify moods at all? (wagging tail = happy, tail between legs = scared, etc.)

“Does a chio’s tail signify moods at all? (wagging tail = happy, tail between legs = scared, etc.)”

Chio ears are usually the best way to guess at what they’re feeling! They’re a lot like cats’ ears, and change direction based on their current mood. Check out this answer for a bit more info!

Ask a Chio: Is a chio more flexible than a human, or vise versa?

Humans and Chios are probably about equal in terms of physical flexibility! A Chio might be able to endure more pain to stretch a bit further, but not by much.

Not any harder than a human can.

Ask a Chio: What if you were a chio?

I would not be a very good Chio.

Chios are from Messenger and Follower. I, however, am a human.

Ask a Chio: Are chios kangaroo people?

Surprisingly, no! Chios are a genetically engineered species of creatures built from combined human and animal DNA.

Although, if you ask some of the Chios themselves, they might relate their creation myth to you instead.

What we do know for sure, is that they’re kind of cute.

Ask a Chio: Does a Chio have an afterlife? (since it was made by science n’ stuff)

Interesting question! Chios don’t have any really specific spiritual beliefs, but rather each individual tends to form their own beliefs and conclusions. Some believe in an afterlife, some don’t.

As to whether there’s an actual afterlife for Chios, well, that’s about as easy to confirm as it is for humans! I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Eldora is from Messenger, and Chios are featured in both Messenger and Follower!
