Ask a Chio: What if you were a chio?

I would not be a very good Chio.

Chios are from Messenger and Follower. I, however, am a human.

But, if you want to be a Chio, you can be! Join the Create a Chio project and commission your very own Chio who will cameo in the upcoming chapter eight of Follower!

Or, Ask a Chio will be reopening today for Chio Club members on a limited time basis! Pledge at the $5 or above level by February 5, 2022 and you’ll get to ask your very own Chio question! Find out more in this post on Follower’s blog.

Ask a Chio: Are chios kangaroo people?

Surprisingly, no! Chios are a genetically engineered species of creatures built from combined human and animal DNA.

Although, if you ask some of the Chios themselves, they might relate their creation myth to you instead.

What we do know for sure, is that they’re kind of cute.

Ask a Chio: Does a Chio have an afterlife? (since it was made by science n’ stuff)

Interesting question! Chios don’t have any really specific spiritual beliefs, but rather each individual tends to form their own beliefs and conclusions. Some believe in an afterlife, some don’t.

As to whether there’s an actual afterlife for Chios, well, that’s about as easy to confirm as it is for humans! I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Eldora is from Messenger, and Chios are featured in both Messenger and Follower!

Ask a Chio: How much chi could a chio “oh” if a chio could “oh” chi?

Hailed-Manic asks: How much chi could a chio “oh” if a chio could “oh” chi?

Thank you for the useful answer, Dia.

Dia is from Follower, but there are more Chios in Messenger, too!

Ask a Chio: Press the button?

Ask a Chio returns, answering the hard-hitting questions!

Jacinto asks: Eldora, here is a button. If you press it, you will ensure a century of security and prosperity for your tribe, but someone not part of your tribe will die. Will you press the button?

Ask a Chio: Hello there fellow chio! (…)

Hello there fellow chio! As you can clearly see, I am a chio just like you and certainly not a human in a chio suit. So, how about we talk about normal chio things?

Chios are very giving!

They are from the comics Messenger and Follower!

Ask a Chio: Dia, you are alone in a room. There are no doors and only a single light illuminates the small space. There is a pedestal in the center of the room with a shiny red button on it. What do you do?

Maybe cinnamon flavored? Or peppermint?

Dia is a Chio from Follower! Her species also appears in Messenger.

Ask a Chio: How are young Chio educated?

Jacinto asks: How are young Chio educated?

The entire village takes responsibility for raising the children, so groups of Chio kids are taught by all of the adults in turn. That way more of the collective knowledge of the adults is passed down. As the young Chios get older, they begin to help the adults take on regular tasks and responsbilities.
