This is just a tiny update to say that I’m leaving Twitter for good. There are a lot of reasons why, but I think it’s finally time. I’ve long since arrived at the point where it’s more effort for me to make a post than what I get in return, where on sites like Bluesky I’ve got a constantly growing and active audience.
I can no longer support Twitter in good conscience, given the direction the algorithm has taken (seemingly toward promoting conflict) and combined with the inability to reach even my own existing audience, I can definitely spend my time in more valuable places.
All that said, if you’d like to keep up with me, I’m most active on Bluesky, but I do keep an up-to-date list of social sites I use pretty regularly right here on the Radio Chio site.
Anyway, it’s a shame to purge more than a decade of stuff and an account that helped me find a lot of my audience in the first place, but times have changed, I guess, and it’s time for me to change with them. Thanks for joining me for all these years! On to bigger and better things.
