Commissions by Bug

A “regular commission” constitutes a customized piece of art requested by the commissioner for personal use, via Ko-Fi, Patreon, email, or other communication. These terms do not apply to commissions done via livestream.

By requesting a commissioned art piece, you agree that: 

(1) The commissioned artwork is intended for personal use only, and will not be used for company branding, merchandise, advertising, or other mass produced products. To hire me for commercial work of this nature, please contact bug [at] messenger-comic.com.

(1a) I reserve the right to reject any commission for content.

(2) You are limited to two rounds of revisions. I will send you an initial sketch after your request is confirmed, and then updates as the work is completed, with opportunity to approve or request changes up to twice. If you feel you will need more than two opportunities for revision, please be sure to request in advance to receive a proper price quote.

(3) Payment is due in full once all terms have been agreed to by both you and I, and I have accepted the commission. Work will not begin until payment is received. Payment will be requested via PayPal or Square Cash depending on your preference. 

(4) All commissioned work will be delivered digitally, so no shipping address is required.

(5) Once work has begun, the order becomes non-refundable.

(6) You agree that I may use the completed piece for display in my portfolio or on social media, unless you request otherwise.

A Doodle Zone/Stream commission is a short-term project requested live during a video stream, and generally completed within the timeframe of the stream. Therefore, some terms are slightly different.

By requesting a commissioned art piece live on stream, you agree that: 

(1) The commissioned artwork is intended for personal use only, and will not be used for company branding, merchandise, advertising, or other mass produced products. To hire me for commercial work of this nature, please contact bug [at] messenger-comic.com.

(1a) I reserve the right to reject any commission due to content, since it will be publicly drawn on an all-ages friendly video stream.

(2) Payment is due in full once all terms have been agreed to by both you and I, and I have accepted the commission. Work will not begin until payment is received. Payment will be requested via Ko-Fi. 

(4) All commissioned work will be delivered digitally, so no shipping address is required.

(5) You agree that I may use the completed piece for display in my portfolio or on social media, unless you request otherwise.
